The next meeting of the
University Science and Technology Librarians’ Group (USTLG)
will be held on:

Theme: Technology to support teaching

Venue: Imperial College London

(The Library is building 25 on the map.)

Attendance at the meeting is free.
The usual charge for lunch is waived thanks to ProQuest.

11.00am – 11.10am:  Welcome.
11.10am – 11.40am:  Emma Shaw, Imperial, “Making an online RefWorks tutorial from scratch.”
11.40am – 12.10pm:  Paula Evans, Imperial, “Using in library training sessions.”
12.10pm – 12.40pm:  Marguerite Quinn, ProQuest,  “ProQuest for university libraries.”
12.40pm – 2.00pm:  Lunch (sponsored by ProQuest)
2.00pm – 2.30pm:   Lynne Robinson, Sunderland, “Challenges of keeping up to date with technology.”
2.30pm – 3.30pm:  Jodie Ward, Jo Wilson & Kate Brown, Middlesex, “APPortunity or APPain? Use of mobile apps for teaching” – workshop/group discussions.
3.30pm – 4.00pm:  Closing remarks (tea/coffee).
4.00pm – 4.30pm:  Tour of the Library – optional, book in advance.
